By registering to volunteer at this event, I acknowledge and agree that:

• I am volunteering to assist with Goalball activities facilitated by the Victorian Goalball Association (VGA) at RMIT University Sports Festival. Neither VGA or ExSight Sports or RMIT University all VGA volunteers intend any employment or contractual relationship to be created.
• Assumption of Risk: I acknowledge that I am assisting VGA voluntarily and at my own risk. I also understand that my role may involve light physical activity, including:
  • setting up and packing down equipment;
  • running activities; and
  • engaging with members of the public, including children.
• Medical Fitness: I confirm that I am medically fit to participate in this activity and will notify the VGA of any relevant medical conditions or injuries that may affect my participation.
• Working with Children Check: I confirm that I hold a current and valid Victorian Working with Children Check, which is linked to the Victorian Goalball Association (VGA).
• Following Instructions: I agree to follow all instructions provided by event organisers and representatives of VGA.
• Personal Responsibility & Conduct: I understand and will comply with VGA’s policies and procedures including VGA's Code of Conduct and Blind Sports Australia's National Intregity Framework (NIF). I will act in a safe, respectful, responsible, and inclusive manner during RMIT University Sports Festival and understand that failure to do so may result in my removal from the activity.
• Release of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, I agree that VGA will not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage I may sustain as a result of my activities as a volunteer (including where caused by negligence). · I also indemnify VGA against loss arising from third-party claims arising out of or in connection with my activities as a volunteer to the extent caused by my negligence, breach of this agreement, or unlawful conduct.
