The Victorian Goalball Association (VGA) is hosting the 2026 Australian Goalball Chamionships!
- Dates: Thursday 1st - Sunday 4th October 2026
- Time: Approximately 8:00 am - 6:00 pm daily, except Sunday
- Location: RMIT University Sports Centre, Bundoora
- Address: 203 Mckimmies Road, Bundoora, VIC, 3083
We are looking forward to welcomeing athletes, officials, volunteers, supporters, family members, and friends from across Australia to AGCs Melbourne. An event that is more than a compeititon, it celebrates accessability, inclusion and community.
Competition Divisions
The following divisions have been confirmed for 2026:
- Junior
- Youth
- Women
- Men
Livestream
All games will be livestreamed via the Victorian Goalball Association's YouTube channel.

Spectators
Spectators are welcome to attend throughout the Championships at no cost.
As Goalball is a sport that relies on auditory cues, we ask all spectators to remain quiet while games are in progress.
Registration Packages
Athlete Registration - $575.00
Includes:
- Competition entry fee
- Airport transfers
- Ground transport between recommended accommodation and venue
- Lunches on Thursday 01 Oct, Friday 02 Oct and Saturday 03 Oct
- Presentation Lunch on Sunday 04 Oct
Family and friends who wish to attend the Sunday presentation lunch can purchase ticket for an additional cost $15,00 per person.
Team Staff Registration - $250
Includes:
- Airport transfers
- Ground transport between recommended accommdoation and playing venue
- Lunches on Thursday 01 Oct, Friday 02 Oct and Saturday 03 Oct
- Presentation Lunch on Sunday 04 Oct
Accommodation
Accommodation is not included in the registration packages.
State Associations are responsible for arranging and booking their own accommodation.
Our recommended accommodation is Quest Bundoora and Quest Preston. We have recieved a discount code for our recommended accommodation. These codes have been sent to each state and will expire on 31st August.
Travel Information
To make airport transfers as smooth as possible, we kindly ask that anyone wishing to use the ground transport between Melbourne Tullarmarine Airport and our recommended accommodation providers book flights within the following times:
- Arrival: Wednesday 30 September 2026, between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm
- Departure: Sunday 4 October 2026, no earlier than 6:00 pm
Further details regarding airport transfer schedules and pick-up arrangements will be provided closer to the Championships.
If your travel plans fall outside these times, we won't be able to provide you with transport to / from Mleoburne Tullarmarine Airport or cover any costs associated with arrangements outside of the above times.
